and i'm been toolin' around in these babies

way more often than i'd like to admit.

fundraising: NOT for the faint of heart.

i'm doing a fundraiser for school.

all proceeds from the purchase help get me

to a 3-day convention in vegas where i will have the

opportunity to take classes from some of the leading

professionals in the beauty industry.

i love and hate it. either way, it's stuck...like glue.

our ward hosted it's very own minute to win it competition last week.

there were laughs aplenty as our team ran from station to station.

for one of the challenges, jason put a baseball in the bottom

of a nylon and then put it on his head and tried to knock

over each water bottle in less than a minute.

junk in the trunk might've been my fave challenge.

poor johnny was picked to complete the task.

a kleenex box + 6 ping pong balls + shimmy and shake

those balls out of the box in 60 secs or less.

pure hilarity!

after a long, hard, half a week...

last wednesday evening went a little something like this:

6:00pm

dinner with angel

8:00pm

get text from friend giving away

ingrid michaelson concert tickets

9:00pm

hit the road to LA

10:00pm

arrive at music box just in time for

ingrid to take the stage

10:00-11:45pm

bliss

we make our own fun.

last night, after a most delicious lebanese dinner,

most of us were hanging around + making weekend plans.

meanwhile, there were games afoot.

sometimes devin is what you might call an instigator.

enter, the bump stop game.

brian + dusty quickly jumped on board.

i love how dusty shuffles along.

brittany, never one to be left behind, was up next.

brittany's flailing arms are the highlight of this bit.

and rounding out the night, we have the prodigal son, scott busby.

what he lacks in skill, he makes up for in grace, no?

aaaaand i'm pretty sure he pulled a muscle on this schennanigan.

my friends make me laugh. a lot.
